About the author 森岡希世子 Kiyoko Morioka 

1974 Born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.

1994 Studied at the National Art School in Denmark.

1999 Graduated from the Kutaniyaki Technical Training Institute in Ishikawa Prefecture.

2012: Certified as a Traditional Craftsman in the Kutaniyaki Ceramic Forming Department.

2016: Obtained a Doctorate degree from Kanazawa College of Art and Crafts.

Currently,  Art and Craft Department professor at Kobe Design University.
